Rowing up....

A fair bit of rain last night so no early start baling yesterday’s grass.
Had to go down the road and lift the heifer that has been unwell. She couldn’t get up at all today so had to put her down. Not the best start to the weekend.
Back home to unload another load of straw bales that our contractor managed to get baled yesterday before the rain came last night.
By 5 pm it had dried enough to make a start baling yesterday’s grass. It was a case of me rowing up a few acres then baling it up so wee brother could wrap it with plastic film, then rowing up some more and baling it. By 9 pm we had half the field done , so not a bad evening’s work for a two man band ! Hopefully we will get the rest tomorrow .
Missing my copilot today as Littlemiss has 2 school pals over to stay. They have been walking all over this afternoon , even came for a look over the dyke at me busy baling grass !
