Scotland

We arrived in Scotland this morning having driven through the night. Not much sleep was had by all, especially the driver! (Mr M did a sterling job, fired up by caffeine).
We enjoyed walking along the Caledonian Canal and seeing Loch Ness - but no sign of the monster.
In the afternoon we drove on further to our holiday cottage. It’s a fantastic old house on the banks of a sea loch with amazing views, opposite the island of Skye.
Our host was very welcoming and left us afternoon tea with homemade scones, bread and jam and a bottle of wine.
Looking forward to exploring tomorrow after catching up on some sleep tonight.
