Cryptic crosswords

I used to finish the crossword every day before I retired. I explained to many new graduates (who were more clever than me) how to work out the clues. I can’t do them any more! Either a) they’re now more difficult b) I’m out of practice or c) I’m getting old.
That must have been summer yesterday. We’re back to grey skies again.
