Unexpected news in the post today about a fairly substantial windfall. An insurance company didn't pay me enough 25 years ago and now their successor is going to pay me the difference with lots of accrued interest. It'll pay for a holiday when we finally get around to having one. I was completely unaware of any of this and they could have used it for a massive office party and I'd be none the wiser!
