Purpling up.....

as the Ling comes out on the moor. It was a beautiful walk to the lochan and the cloud shadows looked good on the hillside.
Although many of the Spring migrants have moved on, there were still Meadow Pipits, Lapwings, Greylag Geese, Hares and Roe Deer here.
Very peaceful too on a hot and sunny day.
