Roadside Cornflower

A few Rotary volunteers maintain a roadside verge. This planted with 4,000 purple crocus last year to publicise Rotary’s Polio Virus eradication programme.
Social distancing we turned up to a rewilded patch. Attractive to bees and other pollinators plus ladybirds and spiders.
A little patch to enhance the community environment.
