Just Married

It was Josh & Natalie’s big day today and what a wonderful day it was too.

Pre lockdown plans were for Mr C and I and another couple to attend the register office, in casual dress, and go for lunch after. Then the ‘real wedding’ would have been next weekend at a chateau in France.  Of course, the French part has been postponed until next summer but we made the day as special as possible. 

The register office was restricting numbers so it was still just the 6 of us in attendance and siblings and partners waited back at Josh’s house for our return.

The service, held in an old school house, was short but sweet with the registrar being very sincere with her words. N got quite emotional saying her vowels, we couldn’t see Js face but I imagine he did a little too.

Back to theirs for Prosecco, cocktails and later some take away pizzas. A very chilled, relaxed and happy day. We are looking forward to celebrating again with others next year.
