..or, The Windowsill Proms.

Yes, the beginning of August always means the BBC Proms are in full swing. - even this year, when things are so different.  So for Admirer's much-loved SillySaturday - and to help out the covid Proms - I have set up an alternative orchestra on a windowsill quite broken and scruffy enough also to qualify for DerelictSunday.  Many thanks, respectively, to KanguZu and Marlieske for hosting.

So could you make any music out of the assortment here?  Well you could from the bird.  It's an ocarina that plays three wonderfully sonorous notes.  Enough for any Prom, surely?

If you're interested, the next one's tomorrow evening (on BBC Four and Radio 3).  Playing are the Chineke! Orchestra with Shaku Kanneh-Mason and Jeanine du Bique.  Bliss!

Lastly, just to say a big thank you for your very kind comments and wishes yesterday.  Yes, my eyes are mostly back to normal, though I still prefer listening to music than watching a screen.
