a pause to throw snow

this morning I let the children sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep as they are exhausted. Then we went up to the mountain restaurant to meet Littlest's godfather and Mr. Spitzi's goddaughter for a late mid-morning drink and snack. We had a nice chat for an hour and then it was time for them to ski away to make lunch for the rest of their family and time for us to hire a sledge. Once we had the sledge (Littlest took her own bob along) we walked half an hour through the snow to the start of the sledging piste. We stopped to look at all kinds of things along the way and generally had a lovely time. I was glad to be back on my feet and the other two were glad to be off their boards and doing something different. We then sledged all the way down to Ftan - nearly 4km run with a drop of 400m, so good fun to do. Then we got the bus home, bought some nice food from the local market I have mentioned before and now, once we've got ourselves together, we're going swimming and out for tea. Mr Spitzi and Biggest are joining us tomorrow after Biggest's match. We're looking forward to seeing them again!!
