Delivery

Just after 8am we received over 2 tonnes of paving slabs. At least 2 tonnes according to the manifest. 132 slabs in total which were deftly delivered to the roadside. By noon I had reached my target of 10k steps a day as, with our son’s help, we carried then onto the front lawn.

The aim is to renew the front path.

I’m glad the weather was not like yesterday with its downpours. The added advantage of today’s weather is that my weight is the lowest it’s been for months. Pre-lockdown even.

Spent the afternoon in the garden unwinding my back.
