Portpatrick

First day of our trip. I left Peebles late morning in blazing sunshine...summer at last. Stopped off for a quick bite in Moffat. 27c. No air con in the car so hot and sweaty. Finally made it to Portpatrick. Very nice (great sea views from our flat) but overcast, cool and cloudy! Then there was a big thunderstorm, followed by a power cut so no hot food. Electricity now back and tomorrow we start the Mull of Galloway trail.
