Grass hopper

Sat watching TV just now and I can hear a buzzing noise. John thinks I am losing my mind... I keep pausing the TV and trying to track the noise down. I finally find this little grass hopper on the curtain, right behind my head. Now relocated outside! I love finding interesting creatures.

Ivy had a dentist appointment this morning as the coating on her back teeth had come off. It was very strict covid procedures. We had to phone from the car to say we were there, masks on (me not Ivy), we were then called in and our temperatures taken, no personal belongings were allowed in, sanitiser, and one single chair in reception to sit on and asked not to touch anything. The (lovely) receptionist opened the doors so we literally didnt touch anything! I understand as dentistry must be one of the very high risk professions. Ivy had filling coatings on all four back teeth, she has no decay but the enamel is so weak and chipped off, she was very good and I was proud of her.

Had a lovely afternoon with my sisters and the children enjoyed playing in the paddling pool.
