A log for the fire?

On his morning walk Mikey always insists on bringing a stick back. Most dogs would settle for a small stick, not Mikey. He has to carry half a tree home, usually tripping me up on the way.
It would be ok if we had a fire.. All we have is a green bin full of Mikey sticks he has collected over the winter.
I have tried to capture how fast he runs. His head is in focus but the rest of the picture makes me feel a bit queasey.
