French Fritillary

Unlike Uist where there is the choice of one species of Fritillary, here there are about twenty and so this one will be for the moment unidentified. I do not have the excuse of not having the butterfly book out here this year so will have to look.
As feared one strimmer worked for a short while and then stopped after starting to backfire and the other one needs a new head. Plenty to do pottering about in the house but everything inside is in pretty good shape. Tomorrow I'll have to brave the shops.
