Rowan berries

They promised it would be hot today and it is - too hot for me! Not Molly though. She has been outside most of the day while I got on with housework. I think she is feeling more comfortable with her shorter coat.
Went out for about an hour to read early afternoon but the heat has also brought out the thrips (thunder flies) so came back in to cool off again and to get on with the ironing as I also did a big wash seeing it was so nice.
I don’t know if it’s just been but the rowan berries seem to be ripening early this year. Harvesting has also started and I’ve even noticed lots of potatoes have been lifted.
