Cold embrace

Continuing the theme of close ups, this garden ornament (I was going to call it a statue) was given to us as a house warming gift when we moved here in December 2000.

At last it has begun to weather nicely and look less stark. I thought the low, bright sun on a cold morning worked to good effect on the setting
