Baby homing pigeon...

On our trip South we stopped at a view point and met a man who was releasing his young homing pigeons on their maiden voyage.

He was 8 miles from home and told us he'll gradually increase that distance as the birds mature.

Such an interesting man and happy to talk to a nosy stranger :-))
