Mall Series

With the time I spend in the malls because of our heat, I realized I should have a titled mall series. Today Phoenix topped out at 47C/117F.

This is at the mall in Scottsdale, AZ. I was on the 3rd floor looking down 2 floors. The minute they opened, the people lined up for coffee. I saw a little girl freak out because she hated the concept of escalators to the dismay of her mom. Mostly it's fun just to observe people. There were many stores that remained closed but there were several opened. I was there to walk and I timed it really well. At the end of my walk I was hungry. My favorite little counter in the Food Court was opened for me to get a bowl of lentil soup for lunch. It was most satisfying too. And believe me with the way air is blasted in the desert when inside, it's not weird to eat soup. :-)
