Each soap saver is different. To help choose the stitch to use I’ve bought a book - 500 Crochet Stitches. If you crochet you’ll know that the American and UK abbreviations are different. This book is American so I have to translate them. I rather like this one.

My son has painted another coat of white in the dining room. It’s looking great.
