Driving around today for few hours up and down the Pyynikki esker area, using my husband's electric bicycle and mobile local quide of City nomadi .

This new living area is under construction. Old factories will be mostly tored down, but some of them will be changed into flats.

This old villa of Breitenstein's in the middle of the pic is protected, but in quite bad shape already. As the new flat quarters will be built - also into the old red brick factory - the villa will be assumably left in the middle of new neighborhood.

A good day. Hubby is in Estonia with his friend and our daughter was visiting in Helsinki. A plenty of time just for myself. I had lovely salad in Cafe Pispala .
