The rain has persisted down almost all day so it wasn’t until after six this evening that it was dry enough to go out without full waterproofs.
After a good walk to get the step count up, we jumped in the car and headed for the Bannockburn Memorial. (See today’s extra) then it was off across the Carse to Lake of Menteith just before sunset.
Well worth the effort even if a few of Scotland’s Least Wanted ( Midgies! ) came back in the car with us.
