Not a Butterfly

A day of nots really. Took the dogs by car to slightly different part of the canal hoping to get a view of the swans who have become slightly allusive since the three Cygnets went amiss. No joy.
Went and did a supermarket shop, not a lot of fun.
Did a stand-in visit and laid flower on a RAF war grave , I am a very small cog in an attendant crew who aim to see that these men are visited on the day of the anniversary of their death.
Afternoon spent gardening (hedge and orchard) there seemed to be loads of Butterflies about, but when I went to capture their images they were far from cooperative. The above is I believe is a hooverfly masquerading as a Bee. Again 'Not' quite sharp on the eyes/head but love the wings.
