Sesimbra Harbour

Delicious and massive breakfast delivered to our room, as can't use the dining room. You go up in the lift and down on the stairs. Same on the beach, steps for going down and separate ones for coming up. Masks whenever you're near other people and in any enclosed space. It all makes clear sense and folk seem to accept the rules without fuss.

Walked to the harbour this morning, the water clear to the bottom, loads of fish in the water. Watched fishing boats entering and leaving - these men risk their lives to bring us the fish and seafood the Portuguese love.

Sesimbra is on the south coast of the peninsula on the southern side of the Tejo River at Lisbon, it's a beautiful area, and popular with the Portuguese.

Just off to collect pizza to take to the Brazilian family we are going to chat with tonight, hoping we can be an encouragement to them. They've had a tough time since arriving here in March.

Gratefuls:
- a relaxed day in a beautiful and interesting place
- lots of sleeping in the cool
- Portuguese fishermen
