New lamp

Went to bed last and switched on my lamp and got a horrible burning smell. Checked the lamp in the morning and it turned out it was
the screw part of the lamp which was burning.
I have got rid of my old lamp as it was a fire hazard and had it for at least 15yrs so it's done well I have to say.
The dogs are decoration only
