Lunar New Year gift

I received this red paper envelope at the check out stand after paying for my groceries at one of Seattle's largest Asian markets - Uwajimaya. I was not sure what to make of the red envelope, but once I looked inside, it was perfectly clear.

Incidentally, had I have been born one year earlier, I would have been born in the "Year of the Snake." Good thing I guess, as I don't care for snakes :)
