Not quite!
From Fox Glacier we drove the 6km to Lake Matheson. We had an excellent breakfast in the café and then set out on the walk around the lake. Unfortunately, although the day was quite sunny, the cloud cover was low and covered Mt Cook. So this is not quite the traditional 'mirror image' that is on all the postcards. In fact it is nowhere near, as even Mt Tasman is only just peeping out from the cloud.
However, it is a reflection in a lake and the walk was really worth doing.
After this, we left Fox Glacier and worked our way up the West Coast to Greymouth, which is where we are now. We drive to Nelson tomorrow.
