Garibaldi Biscuit
The Garibaldi biscuit was originated in England by the Peek Freen biscuit company in 1854, following a visit to South Shields made by the Italian General, Garibaldi...it came highly recommended to me and for anyone suffering from heart disease, in 1998, by the hospital dietitian following my by pass surgery op, the recipe is free of any fat..it just has the irritating seeds from the currants, annoyingly:( Great with coffee :)
