St. Peter's Cathedral
I am taking a class called Masterpieces of Western Art and we had our first sketching assignment due yesterday. We had to find and sketch an example of Classical architecture in NYC. I chose St. Peter's, and took the subway to Chambers Street to get there. While sketching it, I snapped a few photos as well, and I liked how this one came out the best. It was really refreshing to get off campus and just got out in the city for the sake of appreciating it's rich architecture. I know my aunt will see this entry and probably knows a lot of cool things about how the city came to have such diverse architecture over time!
