The (almost) finished blanket.....

Slept much better last night despite waking in the wee small hours with a thumping headache, took some tablets and managed to sleep on. I felt much more refreshed when I woke around 9.30!

Joined all the squares/rectangles together into their pattern groups and joined all 4 groups into the finished article before starting the border. It took an hour and fifteen minutes to get round in the first colour so think I’ve still got a few hours work to add the next 7 rounds of border. As I didn’t take any other photos today you’ve got the blanket.

Otherwise not too much happened other than Mr PHL collecting our daughter from her friends house around lunchtime. She was took to her bed as she was a little the worse for wear after partying with her friend yesterday. She surfaced around tea time and managed a couple of mouthfuls if plain rice before her dad took pity on her and nipped to the takeaway for some nuggets and chips - nothing like fat and salt to cure a hangover. She is much recovered finally.

Managed to collect the motor home from the storage yard and will get it ready tomorrow for our trip away overnight on Saturday.
