The Heron Rule Strikes Again!

He was standing on my side of the creek just under one of the bridges and was so still and quiet I almost didn't see him, though he was less than 10 to 15  feet away.  He kept his eye on me for a few minutes, as you can see in the collage I put into the extras, then started to move away to continue his hunting.  I did not have enough shutter speed and light to get good shots as he was moving, but when he would stop as he moved further down the creek, I managed to get a few more shots, but these were the closest ones......
