Making more Silver washed Fritillaries
I had spent a long time trying to take photos of Great Banded Graylings and Red Admirals (in extras) feasting on the rotten plums in a disused orchard, when I saw “leaves” moving gently In the undergrowth. These two flew up, conjoined, and landed here where they continued their nuptials! (Male on the right, female on the left).
Phew it has been hot today, over 30 easily, lots done in the house as I couldn’t do much outside. It will be evening gardening after dinner.
