The breakfast that went in the bin!!

Having had very little sleep during the night, wakening at 5am and being ‘nil by mouth’, I was delighted to hear that I could have breakfast!!
It reached my table and was closely followed by one of the doctors saying, no another change of plan, no food or fluids!!! I had actually had a mouthful of tea, most welcomed!!

I’ve had my angiogram and can report that the coronary arteries are fine. My arm where they inserted the line is so painful and there will be a cracking bruise tomorrow. I was able to watch some of it on the monitor.

I’m on the list for surgery at some point tomorrow.

An interruption, a doctor to do a scan. My Covid swab results are not back yet, so as I cannot go down to the department, he has come to me. He did say that I’m dehydrated.... no surprise there. I’ve had 6 hrs in the past 20 hrs to drink. A bottle of Newcastle brown ale would go down nicely!!!

The staff are fantastic!!! There was only one dr who was a bit of a grump, but I got him to smile then laugh and he left a happier chap.

I hope to be able to blip early tomorrow, but once I’ve been done there may be a few days delay before I’m reunited with my phone. I will catch up later.
