Not a sunset!
Took the camera out to Penicuik for our first drama meeting of the year this evening as I hadn't taken any suitable blips during the day.
Completely forgot to take it out while I was there though - Doh!
So as I sped home I kept my eyes open for something blippable.
Was thinking it was gonna have to be quick emergency stop in the bus lane on the Bridges for another night time pic of the castle or the Edinburgh skyline but as I was coming down Liberton Brae I spotted a bright glow in the distance over in Fife and knew what it would be so I swung round by Newhaven to get this pic.
It is Mossmorran natural gas fractionation plant and for some reason there is often a large flame burning there which is sometimes really bright at night.
So here we are. The reflection of the bright flame across the Forth was amazing but I couldn't find a setting on my camera which would show it off how it actually was - times like this I really wish I had a better camera.
Anyway it was a pretty amazing sight and i'm glad I caught it
