Wightwick Manor

Another National Trust property today. It’s just on the outskirts of Wolverhampton and it’s famed for the collection of Pre-Raphaelite paintings and William Morris fabrics etc. 

There’s also an art gallery there, shut of course. 

I have walked around the gardens but they’ve never been a big feature for me. 

Today I realised just how much I’d underestimated how beautiful they are.  A splendid hour or so. Amazing what you notice when the situation is different.
