A Tiny Garden in NE Wales

Road trip

Lovely day out for #aTinyGardenInNorthEastWales, road trip to the Wirral to visit @thewilddyery to adopt some baby indigo cuttings. I've been wanting to grow some for a while now and this was a perfect opportunity to get some rooted cuttings. Watch this space! They are very robust and sending out roots like mad. Looking forward to planting them in our septic garden space and some in tubs, and then harvesting and making dye and ink.

Extra
On our way back home we pulled into the Wirral country park for our packed lunch and a walk. Spotted this on a wild rose in the hedgerow. It's called a Robin's Pin Cushion and I've never seen one before. It's a rose hall created by a parasitic wasp laying larvae. Nature is fascinating.
