Common Restharrow
Along both sides of the rather sandy path (extra photo) which leads down to the West Beach in Elie there are a great many wild flowers .... hogweed, ragwort, knapweed and for me the nicest is the very low growing common restharrow. You really have to get down on your haunches and poke among the foliage to get a good flower to photograph.
We did play golf, we did some shopping, we did cycle to the harbour but the bestest thing we did today was visit the hairdresser for a very long overdue haircut.
