Requiem to a good friend

Today was the funeral of our good friend, Jane Clarke, who had passed away after a long, brave, battle with cancer.  The service was in the St James the Great Church in West Hanney, near her home.

Jane loved a good garden, and we were all asked to bring a flower from our own gardens to decorate the ceremony.

I have taken a picture of this white agapanthus in our garden to commemorate the day.
