Another day when photography has had to take a back seat.
The weather has been much improved so I tackled the area which is laughingly referred to as the front lawn.
This area of the garden by the front door, has undergone various transformations over the years alternating between a flower border and a patch of grass.
The last attempt to grow a decent lawn was scuppered by Cassie who much preferred 'to go' on a soft surface rather than the slabs.
I had hoped that after a few months devoid of dog wee, the grass would recover but today I decided to start again .
A small path has been put in and then I will start to replant.
Called into see Kipsie on her allotment on the way to get some gravel.
As usual she was beavering away. I came away with a couple of gifts in the form of beautiful gladioli and runner beans.
I didn't want to leave blip until evening again so had a happy half hour in Jo's field chasing after Britain's smallest butterfly, the Small Blue.
Excited to collect the van this evening.
Not taxing it for a couple of days so a little patience will be required
