Calton.
After arriving home from Uni yesterday and planning on diving on the sofa with duvet and joggers, a phonecall from Rox asking me to make and bring her some lunch to work foiled those elaborate plans.
So, with a tuna mayonnaise and crisp sandwich and fully laden LowePro bag on my back, I jumped on my bike and hoped to catch the sunset as it had been a very clear day.
I made it up Calton Hill after dropping off Rox's lunch (at 4 in the afternoon may I add...) and did the whole range of cliché Calton Hill shots. I wasn't totally satisfied though, and wanted to do something different.
I don't think I have ever seen a shot like this from this location most are lovely wide angle HDR's or long compressed telephoto shots of Princes street.
Anyway I'm afraid this is the final product. I had hoped for something a bit better but the main idea is there...
How on earth can I change the distortion from the wide angle which makes it look like the Leaning Tower of Pisa?!
Please have a look at more shots from today. There's Bokeh, HDR and some nice long exposure light starbursts on Princes Street. All of this JUST A CLICK AWAY!!!
For anybody who saw my blip from yesterday, I was anxiously awaiting a phone call from potential employers following an interview yesterday afternoon. Out of 450 applicants for the job, 45 were called today for a second interview.
I was one of them! I have another interview tomorrow, so I look forward to a sleepless night and sweaty palms...
Thanks for stopping by :)
