Making Progress

The work on the shop conversion at the bottom of our stair is finally coming together. Starting to look good, and a big improvement on the derelict shop that has been there for years.
My portrait photography on the other hand shows no sign of improvement, or at least of recognition. An email today from the Portrait of Britain competition to say that none of my entries had made the cut. I still don't get what makes a competition worthy image.
