Alpstein

The Alpstein is a region in Switzerland that has become quite famous in the past few years, a lot of it Instagram fame. 

We did a 19km walk there along a ridge and passing two lakes. Beautiful! Unfortunately at the beginning a bit crowded and way too hot for Djeili. She did suffer a bit, but thankfully at least she could wear her new cooling bandana. Later she played in one of the lakes, her happiest time of the hike! 

Unfortunate event: At the beginning of the hike we met a lady lying on the ground. She had broken her foot and was waiting for the helicopter...
