Early morning loveliness

Plenty of upsides to early walks to beat the heat. The lake looked wonderful this morning. Koj enjoyed a good splash about with her doggy mates while I went for a swim. Not a planned swim, but a friendly dog owner threw Koj’s frisbee far out in to the lake assuming she could/would swim and get it. No chance! Princess Koj kept her paws firmly on the ground while I went and played fetch. Happily, the water was lovely and warm.
