Waxwing, anyone?

It's funny - even though I've seen hundreds of waxwings in the last couple of months, I can't resist joining the chase when there's a report of some being spotted.

Yesterday was a fruitless hunt, but today I caught up with them.

They were incredibly skittish - flying off at the slightest thing - and when they returned they would quickly snatch a berry from the nearby cotoneaster, then fly off to perch on the TV aerials nearby.
