Night into day

When the weather finally turned calm and clear last night I went for a late walk. No comet - too much background light from the moon! But I did find the plough constellation and it was quite magical to be out on one of my regular walks in the dark. Photo taken about 10pm. Then today I discovered why the conservatory smells a bit off - one of my Stapelia or starfish cacti has snuck out a flower - see extra pic. They’re also known as Carrion flowers for their odour which attracts pollinating insects.
Otherwise today I went for a long slow run and plied some more wool.
