Laying the blocks

The work of resurfacing the Old Medical Quad is progressing. I keep hoping for some sign that trees will be planted or even a bit of grass, but I don't think this is going to happen.

Blocks are being laid now and you can see there are many more waiting to be unpacked. I'm not sure I could work with such regular shaped stones. I prefer the old cobbles (or setts), but these white blocks will be easier to walk on or cycle over ;o)
