Waxing gibbous

I saw the First Quarter moon last night when I let Polly out at bedtime, but it was too low behind our opposite neighbour's roof and trees to get a decent photo, so here's this evening's daytime waxing gibbous. I took this while we were down the lane with Polly where we we treated to Flo and Floella coming over to say hello as we passed their field (see Extras). Flo is always very friendly and Floella will no doubt also be that sort of horse in due course. For now, though, she's a little wary, which is probably just as well.
