House of Commons

Every now and then I see a post on Facebook about some change in government policies which encourages me to visit the write to them web site and fire an email off to either my local MP or my local AM. I find this particular especially as I wasn't brought up in a family that did such things. However today I got a reply to say my MP has signed the Early Day Motion. It's good to feel that in some small way I am given a voice and that I can use it even if I am stuck in bed..

A went for her first swim in two years today. She has had a wonderful time really enjoyed herself and has been assessed as not needing lessons as she is so close to being able to swim on her own she just needs a bit more confidence. So our family support worker is going to take her for a few weeks to get her going it will also tire her out a bit... That has to be good! It also means S gets a chance to go to the shops on his own, without dragging the little one around which will do him good... Just a bit of head space can make a massive difference!

I have been in and out of conscious for most of today but the new pain meds are working so that's ok... At least I am comfortable if I am asleep.
