Undercover

Well this was too good an opportunity to miss! As you all know, since Dad died, I have been here in Ayr a lot more often and know lots about life here. I get emails all about the gardeners and general squabbles - who is arguing with who and what is being done properly or not done properly. Who needs television for entertainment and drama?

Anyway, I think the people who live here are reasonably happy about the gardeners now. I heard a bit of clattering outside the window and got up to see what wild excitement was occurring. It's very quiet up this end, you see?

I had my camera ready but crouched down on the carpet to get a few furtive shots through the glass. I could hardly stand up, open the window and shout 'Smile!', could I? They are already a bit sensitive and would think I was spying for the residents!

I did go out after work with Mom and took a few nice shots by TK Maxx but I really fancied this sneaky one.

By the way, I am the only person lowering the tone round here. People here take their rubbish out to the bins only after it has gone dark! Mom has often met people shuffling around late on, with clinking bags. Like this track, it's all done undercover of the night!
