Scarborough

The top one is.. on the left my Auntie Violet (mums sister in law) and on the right my mum Edith taken in around 1930 the bottom one is Violets grandchildren stood in the same spot around 50 years later.

Its amazing you can still see some of the buildings on the left and the path has hardly altered.

Violet and her brother John and sister Florence were fostered by their Aunt Margaret who was my mums step mother, after their mother died.  In later years mum married John.

Well today has been a wet one, we got a bit wet when taking the dogs, but it did stop in the late afternoon. So today was a little jobs day in the house
