Too Many Options

Feast or famine.

The thing on the right is, obviously, a white-tailed deer. On the left, the other things from top to bottom:

1. Butterfly weed - which I was very happy to see blooming in the spot where I was afraid it had for some reason stopped being - in the hayfield

2. A small frog in our pond. I'm going to say a green frog, but I could be wrong. I'm basing my guess on its eye and its spotted tummy (what I can see of it).

3. Red admiral butterfly - first of the season for me! Finally I'm seeing some butterflies.

4. A gazillion milkweed tussock moth caterpillars. On milkweed, appropriately enough. Also in the hayfield this morning when we went on our walk.
